Also, I've decided in my rock-bottom, suddenly unemployed, depressed diva era that I am going to focus on healing myself.
For as long as I can remember, I've done everything I've been told. I focused on school, I focused on my career, I focused on being selfless, on giving everything to make sure people were comfortable even at the expense of myself. Not anymore. It's not that I want to give up those parts of myself, but I want to put myself first for me; think of this like the 75 Hard challenge but for my personal glow-up.
Let's create some attainable guidelines for this next month:
ð–¹ Workout 5 times a week
ð–¹ Must do 2 out of 3 of these each day: Do my hair, do my makeup, or wear a cute outfit.
ð–¹ Only one non-water drink a day (I.E., coffee, soda, juice, smoothies)
ð–¹ Eating out limited to once a week
ð–¹ Blog at least once a day
ð–¹ Do at least one fun activity a week (going out with friends/hike/movies)
Now I do need yall to keep me on this divalicious path and hold me accountable.
I'll be checking in (maybe i can find a like a widget to check of each day.)
I love that you are choosing to love and heal yourself. I hope this goes amazing for you!
ReplyDeleteyes i decided i get a week to feel sorry for myself and heavily grieve because, I mean, it was a huge chapter of my life ending in a devastatingly "et tu brute" kind of way, so I deserve to feel the sorrow but not TOO much. <3
Deletethe best advice i've been given is act like the person u want to become :) also love the idea of a check-in widget
ReplyDeleteABSOLUTELY, and I want to be a person who loves herself and lives life completely <3
DeleteNOW to lock the heck in and figure out how to create that widget.
i loveeee this for you. i hope you begin to feel like the version of yourself that you want to be, because you already ARE her <3 do it for yourself and nobody else! ❤️
ReplyDeletethank you so much <3 i am so ready to feel like that girl again.
DeleteLove that you are taking the steps to heal! You got this! I will say to make sure you reach them set realistic goals bc going from 0 to 5 days a week working out ..I’ve tried many times and fail. I underestimate how sore my body gets every time those rest days are important. Start with 2-3 and then build up but if you think 5 is easy work DO IT ignore me lol
ReplyDeletetruuuust, im not going in cold turkey. 5 times a week is actually lower than what i was doing before i sprained my knee. (I used to go twice a day) But when i say workout, i mean physical activity of any kind (a little), like walks in the park, swimming, yoga, or weightlifting.
